Travis has been training my husband and I for the last 2 1/2
years and WOW have we come a long way! He trains us together as a team 3 times a week and even though we are both over 50 years old and have desk jobs, we can physically out perform people a lot younger than us.
When we started, my husband had high blood pressure and I
just felt generally out of shape with low energy. Now, my husband’s blood pressure is down and I’m feeling really energetic and fit at 50!
We’ve both made huge gains in our cardiovascular stamina and have some
serious muscle strength (really we do!) The way the clothes fit is not too bad either!
Travis works us out in a CrossFit style and he’s really tough, but considerate enough that we don’t give up. The benefits we have received to our health, stress reduction and self esteem are beyond measure. Working out as a couple is such a great way to bond and even have some good hearted competition (which Travis encourages). We almost feel like we share a personal secret with our fitness successes and we compliment and support each other to keep at it.
If you truly want to look fit, really be fit and have a healthier lifestyle while having fun and pushing yourself to succeed. Travis will get you there!

Before CrossFit I never considered myself an “athlete,” I would run for fitness, and weight management- but was always on the slow side. If I ever did push myself- I would inevitably up with some form of knee injury. The worst part was I would dread my workouts everyday. To get ready for even a 10k I would have to block out long periods of my busy day to make it work, and procrastinate like crazy every time.
After one particularly painful half marathon, I stumbled into a CrossFit gym where I met Trainer Travis. I knew I needed some answers and a way to strengthen my body without injuring it anymore. With all of the answers and a challenging yet rewarding training schedule, I have been injury free for 7 months. I am stronger (losing bodyfat and gaining 6 Ibs of muscle) and I am able to enter events and finish with competitive times.
I love my CrossFit workouts and find myself counting down the minutes until I can get to the gym at the end of a rough work day to see my friends, and kick their butts in the workouts. A girl that would pride herself in doing eight whole “knee” pushups can now bust out three sets of thirty “true” like nobody’s business.
Get yourself in – the best thing you could do for yourself.
